Innovative Glass Construction

 | | The WF40 façade was developed as a supplement to the all-glass façade GFW. The pressure and cover pads have a width of 40 mm and are 6 mm above the glass level. The Wagener Group obtained a general official construction permit for System WF 40. A less expensive alternative to the all-glass façade: Cutting-edge sealing technology (silicone components and corner-vulcanised glazing sealants) ensures safe installation even with unfavorable weather conditions. | | | | | | With the pressure pads, the insulation glass can be safely inserted into the panels. The view width of the profiles from the outside is only 40 mm uniformly. The width of the posts and lock with permanent glazing is 70 mm. The turnable window sashes in the WF40 cannot be seen from the outside. The uniform outside view of 40 mm remains. The width in the interior view is 75 mm. Fittings and drives stay hidden. Opening limiters and turning locks can be used. The window casements are drained through elongated holes through the pressure and cover strips. In addition, drainage occurs laterally before the middle joint into a special chamber in the posts. The casements are manufactured with an adapter frame. This adapter frame is anodized in a special surface grade of selected plants. The insulation glass is glued to the adapter frame by using two-component silicon and is also supported by aluminum profiles to carry the weight of the glass. | References WF 40
